Puppy Environment

All of our puppies are raised indoors inside our home, with their Mum and litter until they are over 8 weeks old. During the first couple of weeks, I stay in the same room with them to sleep so that I can give them around-the-clock care. After the first couple of weeks, we use a camera during the night ‘the puppy cam’ (when it’s not feeding time – because I’m there for that) to make sure the puppies are looked after all the time.

Warm & Cosy Area & Playpen

The puppies have a beautiful whelping area and playpen with toys added in accordance with their developmental stage. I am a Puppy Specialist and hold many qualifications ranging from canine nutrition diplomas to behaviour, animal reiki, and communication to name a few. This means I’m able to draw on the knowledge my training has given me to ensure the puppies receive the emotional, physical, cognitive and sensory stimuli as and when their growth needs. We have a specialised socialisation programme in place which uses a blend of socialisation programmes, classical and operant conditioning, generations of experience rearing, caring and nurturing new born pups and highlights drawn from many canine courses and qualifications. We call our specialised socialisation programme the ‘Elemental Way’ because it blends together in a comprehensive way many elements to help the puppies reach their full potential.

Best Possible Care

In order to ensure that our puppies are given the best care possible, family members are qualified & also highly trained. My husband holds professional canine first aid qualifications, Ofqual for canine communication and care and also within hygiene control. This means the puppies really are completely cared for by people who are experienced and highly trained. My Mother-in-law also holds level 4 canine qualifications and lends a helping hand (plus she enjoys cuddling the puppies as I’m sure you can imagine)!

You’ll see our puppies interacting with their Mum and confirmation that they’ve remained with both her & their littermates (brothers and sisters sharing the same birthday) until they’re at least 8 weeks old. Both of these things are required by law and make sense for the future resiliency of puppies. We actually keep our puppies until they’re approximately 9 weeks old for developmental reasons.

Home Noises & Smells

Home Noises & Smells

Since our puppies live with us in our home, they get to listen to regular household activities, like talking, vacuuming, fires, television, washing machines etc, and smell cooking, baking, grass mowing and so on… You’d be surprised not only how this helps them later in life but also for the neural connections in their tiny brains for understanding of the world. Our puppies are born and raised with much love with the intention of becoming much-wanted and cared-for members within a home. So, living and learning from day one what it’s like within a home is important for every puppy’s future.

We do not use harmful chemicals nor have plug-ins etc which could affect our puppies’ little endocrine systems or our that of our dogs, and (having a diploma with distinction in Canine Nutrition) both our puppies and dogs receive nutritionally loaded food and treats that are suitable for their dietary requirements at their life stages.

Our dogs and puppies are only given spring water to drink.
