It’s been difficult to sum up Elemental Cavaliers (Suzie), because honestly no words could truly do justice to the love and dedication she gives and I cannot thank her enough for allowing me to love Winston and bring him into my home. He is just perfect and we love him so much. But here we go…

After losing my beloved Cavalier, Carter, in October last year following numerous health issues, finding the right breeder felt incredibly important to me. I wanted someone who truly poured their heart and soul into the puppies they raise — and my goodness, I found that and so much more.

From the moment I first visited Suzie’s website, I knew I had found something special. I immediately reached out with an application form and contacted her through Instagram. Our very first conversation turned into a two-hour phone call (yes, two hours!). It probably shouldn’t have lasted quite that long, but once you start talking to Suzie, the time simply flies by. Her love for her dogs and puppies shines through in every word. This clearly isn’t just a job to her — it’s her passion, her purpose, and her calling.

The journey to welcoming Winston into my home was nothing short of wonderful. Suzie kept me involved every step of the way with regular updates, photos, and visits, ensuring the transition would be as smooth and reassuring as possible. The care, time, and dedication she puts into raising her puppies is evident in every detail.

Winston came home last week as a happy, confident, and beautifully well-rounded little boy. I was amazed to discover that at just eight weeks old he was already toileting on command! He’s also comfortable spending time in his playpen and settling happily on his own — something that clearly reflects the incredible start Suzie gives her puppies.

Without a doubt, when the time comes for Winston to have a brother or sister, I’ll be returning to Elemental Cavaliers. I truly cannot thank Suzie enough. This whole experience has helped mend my heart after losing my other boy, and for that I will always be grateful.

I’m already hoping to arrange a future visit so Winston can be reunited with his dog-mum and so we can catch up again.

Becoming an Elemental puppy parent has been a truly significant event to treasure forever. I was looking for an ethical breeder who’d protect the health and happiness of both puppies and parent dogs – I thank my lucky stars I found Suzie!

Suzie’s website is immediately impressive, reflecting her wholehearted dedication to Cavalier wellbeing. Following a reassuringly comprehensive application and a two-hour call with Suzie, it became clear I’d found my breeder. Suzie is someone who really raises the bar and leads by example.

I asked Suzie to pick me a puppy whose early character indicated he might suit life with a cat. In choosing cuddly, confident, laid-back Rupert, she nailed this. Spoiler alert: Rupert and his feline brother get along brilliantly.

As Rupert grew, Suzie diligently sent gorgeous daily photos and videos. When it came to visiting, Suzie and James were the warmest hosts. We met Quorra, all her pups, and enjoyed 1:1 time with our boy. Despite the six-hour-round trip, I visited four times, which undoubtedly forged the bond Rupert and I now share.

Suzie and James lovingly poured their care and attention into the litter’s development. With sight, smell and bespoke sound training, plus an endless flow of sensory toys to educate and entertain, you couldn’t wish for more.

Suzie’s a goldmine of information. Her food, harness and carrier recommendations saved me so much research time.

On collection day, Rupert left with a beautiful bag of goodies. Not for the first time in this process, I was moved to tears.

Suzie curated a wonderfully informative, immersive and special journey from start to finish. Thanks to her and James, I have a happy, healthy, intelligent, sociable, affectionate puppy who’s bringing endless joy – clearly a direct result of his 5* start in life.

My puppy search came to an end the moment I spoke to Suzanne. She was so knowledgeable about the breed, and the love and care for her dogs shone through. I was encouraged to visit my puppy, and was so impressed by what I saw. The puppies are brought up in the heart of the home, and everything was scrupulously clean. Suzanne and James are obviously committed to the health, welfare and socialisation of the puppies, and the interaction with them is lovely to see. I was sent regular photos, videos and messages keeping me informed of my pups progress. I am now the proud owner of a beautiful, healthy and very sociable puppy.

We wasted too much time with other breeders. My real regret is that we didn’t find you beforehand. I loved seeing Benny grow and helping him with his learning sessions with you. When I came to your home I could tell that you love being with the puppies. It’s so easy to see how passionate you are & that you really love them. I don’t think anyone would find a more thorough, lovely puppy breeder than you. When Benny is a bit older I’m definitely coming back to get him a brother. Thank you for all your help & advice. We came to you really hesitant whether a puppy was the right thing for our young family. My boys are now nine and seven years old and we’ve had Jo-Jo for almost 6 months. Doesn’t time fly. We talked to you on the phone first & then we attended the weekly visits. We had looked online and did think that there was a vast difference in prices of some puppies out there, which we couldn’t understand until we realised why. You both have been truly marvellous answering all our many, many questions.

Now we can see that you take the utmost care of all of your puppies, and pass on knowledge and know-how to your families. We saw your qualifications and realise just how dedicated to canine welfare and nutrition you are. We honestly can say that we did not realise how much could go into dog breeding until we met you both.

Having parent dogs health tested is one thing, but having health tested parents from people that clearly know what they doing, come from a family heritage of breeding, who go to the nth degree, pursuing perfection in everything that you with regards to socialisation far surpasses anything we could have imagined.

Jo-Jo is a joy. She is such a gentle, confident little lady these days. We rather wish we had named her something more lady-like because she would have suited it. Although, as you know the boys named her and they are proud of that.

Her first night was eventless. She was content and slept through the night until about 7am. We were worried that we might have had many sleepless nights, but that never happened. Ever since then she sleeps with the fluffy toy you gave her; she is so happy. I believe that visiting her every week helped her to bond with us to the point that she knew we were her family and that she was loved by us. In the beginning we were not sure about visiting more than once, and thought perhaps it was too much for our boys. I am glad that we did make all those journeys.

Testament to your efforts, our family has an incredible puppy from an exceptional breeder. We sing your praises to our family and friends whenever we talk about Jo-Jo. We feel privileged to have her in our lives and to have found you. We hope to see Elemental Cavaliers on television one day.

Thank you very much for allowing us to have Oscar. We chose you after looking on the Kennel Club website and contacting some Assured Breeders for Cavaliers. I had talked with a few and nothing had clicked. I had almost given up when we talked. You were like a breath of fresh air. I understood about waiting for a new puppy in our lives. That didn’t bother me at all really.

What can I day? Oscar is a terrific. People always comment on how well behaved he is and we have to say that we saw the level of socialisation that went on through all the videos and photos you sent us on WhatsApp. I’m actually totally a proud puppy Mummy when Oscar goes for his short walks being so well behaved. He hasn’t barked at any noises & isn’t scared of me vacuuming at home either.

Jen from the puppy pen (!) is our main focus these days and we’ve only had her a day over 2 weeks. She’s incredible – but we already knew that before taking her to her forever home.

We’ve seen her being given everything she could have ever wanted by you with all those beautiful toys and all that cool equipment. All the information I had read about puppies was fairly overwhelming until Elemental Cavaliers entered our lives. Although Jenny is our first dog we know we can contact you for advice, and that we already have much more information thanks to you & James.

I hope you’re well.

This is an update about how well Oliver is doing.

He thoroughly enjoys his puppy classes every week and gets on well with the kids and my in-laws. He now has more puppy friends than I can count and happily comes with me to work every Thursday. He goes to the dog creche I call it until lunch and then we all spend that time together.

He loves to walk by the sea and still enjoys being near Dawson, which is good. We have washed him a good few times now & Oli is still happy with the hairdryer, just as you told us he would be based on his reactions.

I’m looking forward to taking him with us all to Wales for the week during the holidays for his first family break.

What a terrific time I have had meeting you both and having my Cooper living with me. Life has been more complete since he arrived. I did feel at such a loss losing my Eddie that home just didn’t feel the same for a very long time. I’m glad I made the decision to telephone and go onto your waiting list.

Never in my dreams did I expect to encounter people such as yourselves with just one puppy litter at a time and watching them during the night. It did make me realise, and still does, that I had made the right decision. Cooper is simply the most terrific puppy. Thank you for the updates and all the items when I collected him. Also, please thank James for helping me with my car, helping to get Cooper in safely.
