I’m glad you’re interested in who we are – it shows you’re going to be caring towards your new puppy. In all honesty, Elemental Cavaliers is me, with a little help (mostly cuddles) from my close family. I love learning and passing on knowledge and advice to help others. I’m a specialist in puppies and have a number of qualifications including: Nutrition, Puppy Training, and Professional Canine First Aid. I am a Pro Dog Trainer, Accredited Puppy Specialist, Animal Reiki Practitioner, Children & Dogs Specialist, Canine Hoopers Instructor and Separation Anxiety Specialist. I’ve almost completed learning as a canine behaviourist and am qualified to educate adults, which is always handy being able to help puppy parents longterm once their bundles of fur have gone home.

I have been assessed & approved multiple times by The Royal Kennel Club, our local council’s licensing team and am vet assessed & approved. Our families award me 5 stars, through licensing I was awarded 5 stars (licence number: 24/03248/ALACRE). I was also thoroughly assessed & approved as a Kennel Club Assured Breeder for Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies. (I would still be an Assured Breeder had the KC still continued the scheme but they cancelled it on 31st December 2024, which is a pity. Here’s a link to their site stating the ending of the Assured Breeders). I’m happy to show all paperwork relating to qualifications, awarding bodies, our approvals and reviews from families & actually prefer to do just that when people visit – for your peace of mind.

Elemental Cavaliers have the benefit of a home environment & access to appropriate toys, nutrition & optimism building. I used to work within the children & babies education sector for well over a decade, with lots of knowledge & experience teaching and helping with people of all ages (from 6 weeks old to over 90 years old!) I sprinkle this experience into my puppies’ socialisation programme & care. I am still qualified to be able to teach numerous subject areas and disciplines, so this really is drawn upon when guiding the puppies through their very first milestones. Blending this education knowledge with my canine training gives me a completely unique position to be able to help puppy families & provides our socialisation programme ‘The Elemental Way’ the edge.

My puppies are born and raised in our home with much love and attention given to their changing needs and development. We have generations of experience, ranging from my husband’s grandparents, my mother-in-law, and my great-auntie and uncle. I have a bespoke approach for our puppies to learn through our programme ‘The Elemental Way’. I have an application process and prioritise the quality of the placement of my puppies, understanding that they deserve no less than homes that can love them, spoil and adore them, whilst meeting well-above their basic needs. My focus is also on puppy socialisation, behavioural training, separation anxiety prevention, and ethical welfare standards. You probably are already getting a sense of who I am – but just so you know – we don’t use kennels and instead share our home with our family of cuddly Cavaliers.
